Privacy notice

Kaasi is developed by Aanjelo Salgado. Contact aanjelo99@gmail.com for privacy questions or requests.

Your financial records

Kaasi stores your accounts, transactions, budgets and preferences in your browser’s local database. You can start without an account. Clearing browser data or losing access to your device can remove these records. Export backups regularly.

Optional cloud sync

If you sign in with Google and enable cloud sync, your account identifier and the financial records you choose to sync are processed using Supabase. Sync keeps your records available across signed-in devices. Local-only use does not require cloud sync.

Cloud providers process data under their own terms and privacy notices: Google and Supabase. Their infrastructure may process data outside Sri Lanka.

Website and app usage

Kaasi uses Google Analytics to understand website visits and button presses, so we can see which features are useful. No transaction data is shared with Google Analytics.

Storage and security

Browser storage supports the app and its preferences. Signing in may also use authentication storage. A PIN limits access through the app interface; it is not a guarantee that records on an unlocked or compromised device cannot be accessed. No system can guarantee complete security.

Your choices and requests

You can export your records, stop using cloud sync, and clear local app data using the app or browser controls. Clearing local data does not by itself delete a cloud copy. Email aanjelo99@gmail.com to request access, correction or deletion of cloud data. We may need to verify that the account belongs to you before acting.

Cloud data is retained while needed to provide sync, until you request deletion, subject to provider backup retention and any applicable legal obligations. Contact us for details about a particular request.

Changes

We may update this notice as Kaasi changes. The date above identifies the latest revision.
