Kaasi V4: More Control, Deeper Insights

Since I launched Kaasi V3, I've been listening to your feedback and working on the next set of tools to give you even more control over your finances. Today, I'm excited to roll out Kaasi V4. This update is all about powerful new insights and quality-of-life improvements you've been asking for.

Export Printable Monthly Reports

This is the big one. You can now export a comprehensive monthly report as a clean, printable A4-sized PDF. Think of it as a bank statement, but for your entire financial life. Whether you're doing your own bookkeeping, sharing details with an accountant, or just want a physical record, these reports have you covered.

Each report includes:

• All Income & Expense Records: A detailed, chronological list of every transaction for the month.
• Totals & Net Flow: A clear summary of your total income, total expenses, and the resulting net cash flow.
• Category Breakdown: A valuable overview at the end of the report showing exactly where your money went by category.

You can generate a report for the current month at any time, or for any previous month.

Declutter Your Dashboard: Hide Unused Accounts

I get it, not everyone uses multiple bank accounts or credit cards. Unused accounts can clutter your dashboard. Now, you can simply hide them. Only using cash? No problem, hide the rest. Only using cash and one bank account? Done. Keep your workspace clean and focused on what matters to you.

Find Anything Faster with Supercharged Search

I've revamped the search in the monthly breakdown. Previously, you could only search by description or category. Now, your search is much more powerful. You can find transactions by:

• Description or Category
• Transaction Value
• Account Name
• Transaction Type (just type "income" or "expense" to filter)

You can also toggle between searching the selected month or the entire year, making it easier than ever to find exactly what you're looking for.

A Clearer View of Your Credit Card History

For our credit card users, the transaction history page just got a major upgrade. Your records are now neatly grouped by month, making your statement history much easier to navigate. And yes, it now has its own search bar.

A Touch of Polish: Monospaced Numbers

It's a small detail, but it makes a big difference. I've switched the font for all numbers to a monospaced version. This means every number takes up the same amount of space, ensuring that all your financial figures in tables and lists line up perfectly. It's cleaner and easier to read at a glance.
